FYS 10101 - Moreau First Year Experience
This two semester sequence helps new students to make a meaningful transition to collegiate life at Notre Dame by integrating their academic, co-curricular, and residential experiences. Through weekly small-group meetings, students in the course will explore university resources and opportunities and will examine topics such as: orientation to the university; community standards; health and wellness; strategies for academic success; spiritual life; discernment; and cultural competence. Students will use ePortfolios to reflect on their own intellectual, creative, professional, and personal development. This course is required of all first-year students. FYS 10101 is taken in the fall and FYS 10102 is taken in the spring.
